Perinatal and Neonatal loss is a deeply held, complex and silent grief that can leave one feeling isolated, alienated and grappling with a loss of faith, hope and meaning in our lives. ‘Light of the Angels’ offers a space for all parents who have experienced the devastating loss of a late-term pregnancy or baby. This group offers you a safe and nurturing space to explore, honour and try to make sense of the complex emotions and grief surrounding your loss. It draws on the use of ritual, symbolism and creative arts process to deeply connect to your emotional and embodied experience in the hope of finding meaningful ways to continue to hold, navigate, attend to, honour and express both the loss and grief as well as your own needs over time. This group is open to any person who has lost a baby both recently or in the past. Time has no bearing on the grieving process and therefore, this group recognises that for some people, many years may have passed and having not felt ready or had a safe space to fully ‘be with’ and explore this very delicate and unique grief journey.
This is a closed group to enable trust and safety and continuity of connection amongst participants
